We booked our tickets!!Yeah...

I finally booked our flights to Utah for Adams wedding in October. We got them through Delta at a great price so that is why we grabbed them up. I am sooooooo excited. I mean so excited that I just can't wait!! One of the reasons why I am so over excited is the fact that Tony has never flown, nor has he ever met my whole family. He met PJ and Adam because they came to North Carolina to visit.
I have soooo much to show him about my home town. I have been away for 16 years and that is a long time. Because I started a new job, I haven't built up enough vacation so my wonderful boss is allowing me to borrow from next year.


So The complicated thing is we are flying into Vegas because the wedding is in St.George Utah

and so that is only an hr away from Las Vegas.He have a layover in SLC for 3 hrs so I got to take tony downtown to eat lunch then we wil go back to the airport to catch our connecting flight To vegas baby!! Then after the wedding we will drive up to SLC to visit and show Tony the rest of Utah. This is going to be so fun. I hope to see most of you that are reading this at the wedding. Then we are scheduled to fly our of SLC on Wed afternoon.... So it all worked out great but the hard but is coming, that is to get Tony ok with flying. He is terrified and I have to work my magic to explain the good things about flying. Any suggestions, please let me know!

Date Night!!

Tony and I usually plan a date night at least once a month, but here latley with the holiday and then his birthday we have just been to busy, SO tonight is our night! We plan on going to dinner then on to the movies.I love these days.



The movie I chose is Step Brothers
You see Will Ferrell is my FAVORITE!! I laugh till I cry evertime I watch his movies. I used to stay up to watch him on Saturday Night Live I have a collection of his stuff...

Tony's 39th birthday

Well Tony just turned 39 on Monday and he is having a hard time with it, but with my help of courdse I have been rubbing it in on a daily basis.... The fact that he is almost 40 is really got him down lol.I suprised him with a the ring that he has been wanting, but the only size they had was a 11 and he needs a 13 so for the sake of his birthday I gave it to him then had to take it and get it sized.
But anyway we had a good time with friends!I also got him some boxing gloves that he has been wanting and you know how that went. lol Everyone had to test them out. I wish I could up load the video. It was so much fun because Shelly was trying to be the bird whisper..Tony was wanting to use the gloves so we had to get his Hulk gloves so we could have a match. I talked to Adam today and they have now changed the wedding date to October 25th 2008. In St George Utah So it will be here before we know it!! I am so excited... Well I thought I would let everyone know

Nephew Jack Dean is a baby doll!!

Ok here I go, posting picture after picture of my nephew!! I'm a just a proud Auntie.
My Mom has been staying with Paul and Jenn to watch the other kids while Jenn takes it easy for a few days. My Mom is loving every minute of it, Ever since PJ moved to St George, my Mom has been going thru a hard time missing her Grankids, I don't know what she would do if I ever had kids, she would spend millions in airfare flying out here!!

Here are the pictures a few hours after he was born. Look at those cheeks...And those hands, Good Lord you can tell he is a Holden!! My Sister Inlaw is doin great, her blood pressure was quite high so they had to take the baby a few weeks early!!
The funny thing is, My brother PJ has named 2 of his kids after golfers. No that is going a little far. LMAO Just kidding, Sorry this is so short

I am an Aunt again for the 4th time! WOW

Great news!! My brother Paul (PJ) and his wife Jenn had a baby boy this morning. His name is Jack Dean Holden (named after Jack Nicalus) LOL My family are golf FREAKS! He weighed 7.4lbs and 20 inches long. Mama and the baby are great! And no more babies for PJ & Jen, they are DONE she said! I can't wait to see them in November when Tony and I fly out for ADAM's Wedding,


Yup that was the other news I had they got engaged on the 4th of July! So much is going on and I am missing it all !! That sucks bad. I wish I could be there for my MOM when they start getting ready for the wedding.Well busy times at the Holden's!! Well I gotta go.Blog at ya later!

Our 4th of July....

We spent our 4th of July weekend with our friends, Shelly and Curtis in Hope Mills. We had sooooooo much fun. Curtis had cooked his famous ribs (they are to die for) He is going to get into the resturant business, as he should, he is a great cook!! whenever we know that we are going up too Curtis and Shell's for dinner, Tony won't eat all day because he always says " I am waiting on my brothers cooking" He acts like it's freaken Thanksgiving





But anyway then we sat around talking and having a few drinks...... We waited for the fire works. I love this time of year because it kicks the summer off with a bang. a

So anyway we headed over to the fireworks, they were short and sweet, but oh so pretty.... I LOVE FIREWORKS!!!!

Then we got back and got the part started. I was drinking more and more. See when we spend time with them we can sit there and talk and laugh for hours. We all have so much in common, or maybe it is just that we are in tune with them so much!
But then as we were talking about getting in the pool, it freaken started to thunder, WHAT?? ARE U SERIOUS? Rain? lol But yup it did it's thing and the guys were like woo whooo, we don't have to get in the pool, but shelly and I were like, ummmm it is gonna blow over and then we are gonna jump in.. lol

So sure enough it did, we got in like normal people but TONY FREAKEN BURCH, had to be ridiculous........ He Just jumped in like he was a tough guy, His face was was toooooooooo funny when he came up. So anyway here are a few pics from the pool,






We had so much fun, and we always do... We love these guys and are so thankful to finally have such great freinds!! Our next adventure we are headed to Georgia for their anniversary in August!! Yeah!!Road trip... This should be fun!!

The new addition to our Family

Well here is our new babies. They are Quaker Parrots. So ya we have a freaken zoo now at our house. We have a Cat named Casey with kittens, big huge dog named Kobee. And now we have Keeta and China!


I just had to take pictures of our new addition. They have the funniest personality!

I got them for Tony for his birthday.They can say "Hey Suga" Just like an old southern woman. LOL And they say "pretty girl", Hey there". They are so funny, they have swings that they love and they motion their body so the swing will move back and forth it is so hilarious!! Well I have to keep it short today, getting ready or vacation.
